For the first time since it.s inception, Steakfest became a bi-annual event. Despite the loss of Ed Palange the event was able to carry on with the additions of three rookies Ian McCrone, Laura McCrone, and Ariel Macari. The largest steakfest to date the final bill looked a little bit like this:
Laura McCrone earned an honorable mention for her performance during the night and for being the first female participant. Yet the unanimous vote for MVP was Rob McCrone, who finally earned his MVP title. Rob ate his double in very good time, but as always performance is part of the event. While eating his double Rob proceeded to pick up the steak in his hands and put in his mouth and shake it around like a bear. This was then confirmed by the couple sitting next to us who stated "Wow, he's eating that like a bear."
